Проект УУСЗ является флагманской инициативой USAID по укреплению комплексных систем здравоохранения. Под руководством Abt Associates проект стремится помочь странам с низким и средним уровнем дохода перейти к устойчивым, самофинансируемым системам медицинского обслуживания для обеспечения всеобщего охвата услугами здравоохранения. Проект работает со странами-партнерами и местными заинтересованными сторонами, чтобы снизить финансовые барьеры для получения ухода и лечения, обеспечить равный доступ к основным медицинским услугам для всех людей и повысить качество медицинского обслуживания.

Цель данного мероприятия заключается в содействии расширению знаний о профилактике COVID-19, повышению осведомленности о вакцинации и увеличению охвата вакцинацией против COVID-19 с помощью подходов информирования о рисках и взаимодействия с населением (ИРВН). Основное внимание уделяется трем приоритетным районам Чуйской области: Московскому, Сокулукскому и Иссык-Атинскому.

The USAID Global Local Health System Sustainability Project (LHSS) helps countries transition to sustainable, self-financed health systems as a means to support high performing health systems. The goal of this activity is to contribute to increased knowledge of COVID-19 prevention, improve vaccination education, and expand COVID-19 vaccination coverage through risk communication and community engagement (RCCE) approaches. The focus is in three priority districts of the Chui region - Moscowsky, Sokuluk, and Yssyk-Ata.

The Grantee will be responsible for adapting and disseminating information, education and communication (IEC) materials, as part of this RCCE approach, to increase knowledge of COVID-19 vaccines and increase vaccination coverage in these three districts. The Grantee, in partnership with the Republican Health Promotion and Mass Communication Center, will identify Community Mobilizers (CMs) who are Grantee staff and Community Activists (CAs) who are trained volunteers selected from their respective communities to lead implementation. CMs will equip the CAs with evidence-based IEC materials to safely communicate with residents in these districts through household visits, community meetings, and promoting key health messages. To ensure more equitable and widespread access to vaccines for rural areas, the Grantee will help organize mobile vaccination campaigns, in partnership with the local health authorities or healthcare facilitates. Grantees are encouraged to design activities with LHSS’s guidance on gender equity and social inclusion (GESI) approaches, where possible.
