Empowering Health Care Excellence: Jordan's MOH Launches CPD Training Platform to Improve Health Outcomes
Date
Jordan's Ministry of Health (MOH), in partnership with USAID's LHSS Project, launched the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Online Training Platform. With LHSS and accreditation from the National CPD Committee, the platform marks a momentous step in providing health care professionals (HCPs) throughout Jordan with access to accredited online CPD courses, facilitating their certification and relicensing.
The CPD platform, accessible at cpd.moh.gov.jo, offers a diverse range of medical courses crafted by experts, delivering cutting-edge knowledge to HCPs across Jordan, regardless of their geographical locations or place of work. This platform will serve as a comprehensive hub where the latest developments in the health care field are made available free of charge, aligning with the missions of both USAID and MOH to offer knowledge for the entire health care workforce, ensuring that health care professionals, even in remote areas or those with busy schedules, have access to essential knowledge. Additionally, LHSS and the MOH invited other implementing partners in Jordan's health care sector to contribute their courses, fostering a collaborative effort in knowledge sharing and generation.
Continuing Professional Development is a pivotal pillar in the enhancement of health care systems, guaranteeing that health care professionals remain updated on the latest advancements, best practices, and innovations in their respective domains. Within the context of Jordan's health care landscape, mandatory CPD plays an instrumental role in upholding high standards of care, advancing patient safety, and nurturing the professional development of health care practitioners.
