Detailed Roadmap for Colombia: Implementing Recommendations to Optimize General Social Security Health System Resources in the Short and Medium Term

LHSS collaborated with the Colombian Government to identify opportunities for optimization in the General Social Security Health System (SGSSS). Using USAID's Technical Efficiency Guide (TEG) adapted to the Colombian context. The TEG analyzes common inefficiencies in health systems and prioritizes actions. In 2022, the TEG was applied in Colombian cities, generating recommendations to improve the health system. This document presents a short summary of the prioritization of those recommendations and a Roadmap for their implementation.
